Before starting on your journey to making Millions, you need to decide what it is that you are trying to accomplish in gaining Mesos in MapleStory. Are you trying to gain enough Mesos so you can buy that Blue Screamer that you have had your eye on for a long time? Or are you trying to buy multiple Scrolls for weapon, armor, and return? Maybe you are trying to become the richest player in MapleStory. Defining your objective before you start is very important as it gives you a goal and target to shoot for. If you start out blindly without a plan, you probably will not accomplish what you set out to do. The goal that you have will also determine the strategy that you are going to use in making your millions.

Ask yourself this question. Who are the richest people in our society? Are they the people who do all the hard manual labor? Is it the guy who works all day on the farm or in the mine? Is it the craftsman who designs something with his hands? Is it the fisherman or lumberjack, or soldier who breaks their back to get their jobs done? The answer usually is NO. The person who has all the money is the individual who owns the coal mine or fleet of fishing vessels or chain of department stores. The owner is the one with all the cash. This is the key to financial success in MapleStory as well. In order to become rich, ultimately you need to not work for someone else, or even work for yourself. Just being a high level player is no guarantee of being rich in MapleStory. Many players have no plan on how to get rich or too stay rich once they get there.
